How the math works. Cost is your ingredients plus packaging plus your hours times your hourly rate, for the whole batch. Suggested price divides that cost by one minus your overhead percent, then splits it across the dozens you enter, so the figure is already per dozen. Price per dozen and price per cookie stay in sync when you edit either one, and margin compares your price per dozen against your cost per dozen.
